Security & Authentication

This section explains how Serenity protects user accounts and ensures that only account owners can access their personal data. Security is designed as a core part of the system, not an additional feature.

Authentication Methods

Serenity uses secure authentication methods to manage account access, including:

Authentication using email and password

Authentication through third parties such as Google

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

Serenity provides Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) as an additional layer of security. When 2FA is enabled, users need to perform additional verification after logging in, in addition to the main password.

This feature is designed to:

Protect your account from unauthorized access.

Reduce the risk of account misuse.

Provide users with additional security controls.

2FA is optional and can be enabled or disabled through your account settings.

Session Protection

Each user session is protected to prevent unauthorized access. Serenity automatically manages login sessions and can terminate sessions if unusual activity is detected or when the user logs out of their account.

Account Recovery

If a user loses access to their account, Serenity provides a secure account recovery mechanism. This process is designed to protect the user's identity without requesting excessive sensitive information.

User Responsibility

Users are advised to maintain the security of their accounts by not sharing login information and enabling additional security features such as 2FA if available. Account security is a shared responsibility between the system and the user.
