How Journaling Works
Journaling in Serenity is designed as an active reflection process. Each journal entry is not only saved, but also analyzed to help users understand their emotional state and mental patterns more clearly.
Writing a Journal Entry
Users write freely in their journals without any mandatory format. Entries can contain thoughts, feelings, or daily experiences according to the user's needs.
Once the journal has been written and saved, Serenity will automatically process the entry.
Automatic Mood & Emotion Detection
Each journal entry will be analyzed to automatically detect the user's emotions and mood. This process helps identify emotional states without requiring users to manually select or explain everything.
These detection results are used as internal context and displayed in an easy-to-understand summary.
Insights Generation
After the journal is saved, Serenity will provide brief insights based on the journal's content. These insights are intended to help users reflect on what they have written, not to assess or diagnose mental conditions.
Comparison With Recent Journals
To provide broader context, Serenity compares the latest journal with up to 5 previous journals. This comparison helps users:
Observing mood swings
Recognizing recurring emotional patterns
Understanding short-term emotional trends
User Control
All insights and analyses are informative. Users retain full control over how they interpret and use the results. Serenity does not impose any particular conclusions or actions.
Privacy & Safety
Journal analysis is conducted with respect for user privacy. Journal content is treated as personal data and is not shared or used outside of the user's experience within Serenity.
